Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo, Senior Presidential Advisor and Personal Assistant to H.E. President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, as well as Manager of the Office of the National Chairman (ONC), has commended Ugandans for overwhelmingly re-electing President Museveni with over 71% of the vote.
In a press release issued at the ONC headquarters in Kyambogo, Hajjat Namyalo urged citizens to turn up in large numbers on 12th May 2026 at Kololo Ceremonial Grounds to witness President Museveni’s swearing-in for his new term in office.
She reaffirmed President Museveni’s strong commitment to improving the socio-economic welfare of Ugandans through key government programmes such as the Parish Development Model (PDM) and Emyooga.
Hajjat Namyalo also praised the President for his steadfast and visionary leadership, noting that he responded to the call of Ugandans—led by the ONC—to contest in the recent elections.
She further reiterated the ONC’s commitment to continue monitoring government programmes to ensure they deliver tangible and meaningful results for all Ugandans.
