Residents of Bulanga Village in Luuka District were left in shock after a 50-year-old married man reportedly died during a secret nighttime encounter with a woman believed to be his lover. The incident happened late Sunday night and quickly spread through the community, drawing crowds and sparking heated discussions among locals.

According to eyewitness accounts, the man, identified as Kalamu Simon, had earlier been seen socializing at a nearby trading center before disappearing with the woman into a bushy area not far from the village. Moments later, the woman reportedly raised an alarm after Simon suddenly collapsed and became unresponsive during the encounter.

Area residents rushed to the scene and found the man lying motionless. Local leaders immediately informed police officers from Busoga East Region, who arrived shortly afterward to secure the area and begin investigations. The body was later transported to a nearby health facility for a postmortem examination to determine the exact cause of death.

Police spokesperson Samson Lubega confirmed the incident and said preliminary findings suggested the man may have suffered a sudden medical complication. However, authorities stated that investigations were still ongoing and urged the public to avoid spreading rumors until official medical results are released.

The incident has since become the center of discussion across the district, with many residents expressing sympathy for the deceased man’s family. Reports indicate that Simon was married and had recently welcomed a newborn child with his wife, making the tragedy even more painful for relatives and friends.
